FORMA 3D is an architectural visualisation studio focused on bringing unbuilt spaces to life.

We create high quality 3D imagery, animation and film that help architects, developers and property brands communicate the vision behind their projects. From early concepts through to final marketing, we combine architectural detail with cinematic storytelling to create visuals that feel real, engaging and aspirational.

OUR WORK

MONARC – Stonefields, Auckland

  • Create a premium suite of architectural visuals for MONARC, a boutique 38-home development in Stonefields, Auckland, designed by Monk Mackenzie and developed by Clarke Group. The goal was to communicate both the architectural vision and lifestyle of the development before construction was complete, highlighting the interiors, material palette, landscaping and connection to the Maungarei Springs Wetlands.

  • We produced a comprehensive collection of photorealistic exterior and interior renders, including hero imagery, kitchen and bathroom visualisations and wider site perspectives. This was complemented by a cinematic animation combining 3D fly throughs, real drone footage, lifestyle imagery, voice-over and music.

  • The final visuals created a cohesive representation of MONARC, helping prospective buyers experience the development before it was built. The content was designed to work across the wider marketing campaign, including digital, print, sales material and promotional content.

MOUNTAIN OAK APARTMENTS – QUEENSTOWN

  • For Mountain Oak Apartments, Queenstown, the challenge was to capture more than the architecture. The visuals needed to sell the experience of living in one of New Zealand’s most distinctive alpine locations, while clearly communicating the design and character of the development.

  • We created a series of detailed interior and exterior 3D visualisations, placing particular emphasis on natural materials, warm interior spaces and the surrounding mountain environment. Each image was carefully composed to give the development a strong sense of place and an aspirational yet believable feel.

  • The finished imagery allowed Mountain Oak to be presented as a complete lifestyle proposition well before the apartments were finished. It gave the marketing team a strong visual language for introducing the development to buyers and showcasing the relationship between the homes and their Queenstown setting.
